Dramatis Personae
- Angelique, a vampire of Clan Toreador and an adventurer of sorts with an interest in Egyptian history and myth. Rocks the geek chic and would be played by Rachel Weisz.
- Sirius the Dog Star, who often appears like a scruffy labrador.
Metagame Observations
- Due to letting the players start things the nature of FATE characters meant this whole session was essentially made up on the spot while dynamically pulling ‘set’ ideas in response to pro-active players. It was also the first sign the campaign might go longer.
- It is incredibly easy to stat up scenes and conflicts on the fly even if you have to resort to the minimum of a single ‘rating’ and a stress track. Working with the fiction and the emulation, rather than the simulation, keeps such things stress free.
- The biggest thing I learned here? When put on the spot to make things up let the players do it. Chances are it’s twice as awesome as what I’d have come up with (as I’m more a let the idea stew for a while person and much better at maybe ‘oomphing an idea’ presented with a myriad of prepared abstract ideas).
