Key Outcomes

These are the key outcomes

  • The pack retreived the Glaive of Ra from Sekhmet and now have two of the wespons.
  • The Pack avoided the Jaws of Obvivion from reviving.

The Big Plot Facts

  • The pack were able to enter the portal within the Jaws of Oblivion due to having been at the Maw of Oblivion when it collapsed the Underworld
  • Silent Claw was able to enter due to being one of the chosen three of Ra
  • They persuade Sekhmet to give the Glaive of Ra to Silent Claw
  • Red Claw located that Broken Fang or Luna’s Star exists out in oblivion which means one of three places: the heart of The Jaws of Oblivion (now collapsed), the Dark Sun making it’s way to Gaia or the Nuclear Chaos at the Centre of the Universe
  • The Pack jumped through the closing gate to an unknown location

The Other Facts

  • The Pack found the fossil of the Jaws of Oblivion by following the scent of oblivion.
  • Red Claw used a tuft of Broken Fangs fur and his shaman skills to seek out Broken Fang or Luna’s Star out in Oblivion.
  • Red Claw and Silent Claw manifesting their complete rage (used the full track) in different ways – but the outcome was the same: jumping through the gate following signs for Luna’s Star / Broken Fang.

Dramatis Personae

  • The Jaws of Oblivion, one of the last Malfeans from the last time the Dark Sun approached Gaia. Defeated by Sekhment but locked from reviving by her spirit and the Glaive of Ra. Now destroyed.
  • Echo of Oblivion, a shadow of Apophis that had travelled the vast distance from the Chaos at the Centre of the Universe, through the Dark Sun and into Jaws of Oblivion. Alerted by Red Claw reaching out for Luna’s Star.
  • Sekhmet, the great Champion of Raw and Simba Bestat. Locked in the heart of the Jaws of Oblivion to ensure it could not be revived. Released upon giving the Glaive to Silent Clar.

Metagame Observations

  • It was always going to be interesting as to whether they would jump through the closing gate – as usual the fiction first rule elements provided the logical and dramatic reason to do so.
